Custom Training

We will customize a training class specifically to your needs. This class is held at FTS on our state-of-the-art equipment. We can customize a class for up to 8 people.

FTS will work with you to make sure your employees get the exact training you need them to get.

We can set up a class to train on any of the following:

Unsupported Film
Hot Stamp
Cold Foil

Onsite Training

Do you have a specific project that you need training on? Do you need several people trained, but can't afford to have them all out for training at one time?

FTS can come to you! We can send one of our experienced trainers to your plant to do the training.

Introduction to Flexography

(2-day Class)

This is an intensive 2-day flexo training class providing an overview of the flexographic printing process. Students will receive hands-on instruction in the basics techniques of flexo narrow-web production. (Make sure you don't wear your best clothes, you will be running a press!)

Curriculum includes plate mounting, ink handling, anilox roll management, press set-up, die cutting and printing.

Production Efficiency Training

(2-day Class)

Flexographic Trade Services wants to help you cut your waste and down time in half.

Is your press room efficiency out of whack? Do you spend more time with the press sitting still than running? Is your waste costing you profits?

If so, then let FTS show you what can be done. In our 2-day hands on training program your press operators will learn:

• How to set your press up the most efficient

way possible.
• How to set up 4 color process as well as

8-color work in less than 300 feet of stock

and in 30 minutes maximum.
• Color consistency press side.*
• How you can match your color the next time

that job is repeated.*

*The color issue seems to be a big problem in most plants I go in yet it really is one of the easiest things to control when done right.

This program is offered to you in two formats:

• Open class
This class is open to all companies. Class size is kept to 8 attendees or less.

• Custom class
This is a class set up strictly for one company only. Class size is kept at 10 or less.

We highly recommend this program for managers, press room supervisors, and press operators. All attendees will be able to perform within our guidelines before the end of class.
